Ukraine Conducts Strikes on Russian Targets Amid Ongoing Conflict

The Ukrainian military has demonstrated its capability to conduct strikes on various targets within Russia. Reports indicate that Russia is experiencing fuel shortages due to repeated strikes on refineries, with some incidents prompting evacuations in Moscow. The same report estimated that Russia has sustained approximately 1.4 million battlefield casualties since the start of the conflict in 2022. Zelensky mentioned a 40-day operation aimed at compelling Russia to engage in negotiations, though there are currently no indications of progress in diplomatic efforts.
