Paul Pelosi Charged with Hit-and-Run in Napa County

Paul Pelosi, the husband of Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), is facing a hit-and-run charge in Napa County, California, after allegedly crashing into a legally parked car on Friday and leaving the scene. The Napa County Sheriff’s office reported that he was not arrested and had no alcohol in his system but admitted to hitting something. Pelosi, 86, was driving his brown convertible in Yountville when he struck the parked vehicle. Deputies located him approximately a quarter of a mile from the crash site after a witness called 911. His vehicle showed significant damage consistent with the collision. A spokesperson for the Pelosi family stated that he has apologized to the vehicle's owner and will take responsibility for the damage. The case has been forwarded to the Napa County District Attorney’s Office, and deputies determined he was not driving under the influence after a breathalyzer test.
