Bus crashes into building in Baltimore County, resulting in multiple injuries

A bus crashed into a building in Baltimore County on Wednesday, injuring dozens of people. Maryland authorities reported that over 30 individuals were initially treated, with one person in critical condition. The Baltimore County Fire Department later confirmed that 28 patients were involved after declaring a second alarm mass casualty incident around 6 p.m. Emergency responders, including a shock trauma team and a medevac helicopter, were dispatched to the scene, where fifteen ambulances arrived. One patient who was trapped was extricated at 6:47 p.m. The bus appeared to be part of Baltimore City's transportation system, and footage from the scene showed at least eight vehicles involved, with several sustaining heavy damage, including one that overturned. Reisterstown Road is closed in both directions between Old Court Road and McHenry Avenue due to the crash. The Baltimore police and fire departments have been contacted for further details.
