New Jersey woman arrested for alleged sexual assault of child and sharing video on Snapchat

A 25-year-old woman from New Jersey, Victoria Anne Cranmer, has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including second-degree sexual assault and second-degree manufacturing of child sexual abuse material. The charges stem from allegations that she sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13, recorded the incident, and shared at least one video on Snapchat. The alleged assault occurred on May 6 in a bathroom at a home in Little Egg Harbor while the child was in her care. Authorities identified Cranmer through distinctive tattoos visible in the video. The investigation began on May 20 after the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency referred the case to local police. Detectives obtained search warrants for Cranmer's cellphone and Snapchat account, uncovering additional videos. The cellphone, a birthday gift from a former roommate, was turned over to investigators after the roommate discovered the recording. Cranmer is currently held at the Ocean County Jail without bail.
