Amazon's God of War TV series seeks new actor for Kratos role

Amazon's upcoming God of War series is in need of a new actor for the role of Kratos following an injury to the original actor, Ryan Hurst. Hurst, known for his role in Sons of Anarchy, had completed four episodes of filming before sustaining a bicep tear during a stunt. Production has been paused and is expected to resume in mid-October, but Hurst's recovery from surgery will not allow him to continue in the role. The completed episodes will need to be reshot with a new actor, leading to further delays in the show's release.
