Andrew and Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami on Additional Rape Charges

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate were arrested by federal law enforcement officials in Miami on July 18, 2026, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. The arrests are related to additional rape charges brought by the U.K.'s Crown Prosecution Service. The agency stated that the brothers are awaiting extradition to the U.K. Andrew Tate faces seven additional counts of rape, among other charges, while Tristan Tate faces one count of sexual assault and two counts of rape. The allegations involve offenses from July 2010 to August 2017 and include four additional alleged victims. Malcolm McHaffie, head of the Special Crime Division at the Crown Prosecution Service, indicated that the new charges were based on evidence received from Bedfordshire Police. Joseph D. McBride, the attorney representing the Tate brothers, criticized the arrests as an abuse of authority and claimed that the charges were politically motivated. The brothers, who are dual U.S. and British citizens, have denied all allegations against them.
