British prosecutors have filed 38 new criminal charges against Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan following their arrest in Miami on July 19, 2026. The charges include rape and an outstanding warrant from the United Kingdom, bringing the total number of charges against the brothers to 59, according to Hertfordshire Police.
The Crown Prosecution Service previously charged Andrew Tate with 10 counts related to crimes against three women, while Tristan faced 11 counts linked to one woman. The latest charges include 19 counts against Andrew Tate concerning illegal child images and pornography.
The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed the arrest of the Tate brothers, stating that the warrant was sealed and they could not disclose specific charges. The Florida Attorney General's office confirmed that the brothers were taken into custody based on a UK arrest warrant.
Joseph McBride, the lawyer for the Tate brothers, stated that they deny all wrongdoing and claim they are being unfairly targeted by British authorities. The brothers have been under investigation in Romania for human trafficking since 2022.
