Family identifies victim of fatal shooting in Boston home owned by Rep. Ayanna Pressley's husband

The family of an 18-year-old woman, identified as Yoseliani Marte, has reported that she was found fatally shot on Saturday inside a Boston home owned by Conan Harris, the husband of Rep. Ayanna Pressley. While police have not officially confirmed her identity, Marte's mother stated in a GoFundMe campaign that her daughter was killed due to domestic violence. Police responded to the residence in the Mattapan neighborhood at approximately 1:52 p.m. and discovered Marte with a single gunshot wound. Public records indicate that the home is owned by Harris, who has been married to Pressley since 2014, though they do not reside there as it is a rental property currently listed for sale at $1.15 million. A spokesperson for Pressley stated that neither she nor her family were involved in the incident and expressed condolences to the victim's family. The investigation into the manner of death is ongoing, and a vigil was held for Marte by family and friends on Sunday night.
