The report highlights the DSA as a significant example of Cuba's ideological influence, noting that the group was not founded as a front for Cuban intelligence but has adopted pro-Cuban policies over time. The DSA has organized delegations to Cuba and has expressed opposition to U.S. government actions, including efforts to dismantle U.S. influence.
Additionally, the report mentions the Venceremos Brigade, which has been linked to Cuban intelligence and has ties to the DSA, describing it as a tool for the Cuban regime to conduct subversive activities against the U.S. The report claims that the Brigade has helped establish Cuban influence in various sectors, including academia and the Democratic Party.
