Man Charged with Triple Murder in Minnesota Parking Dispute

Tsegaab Ademassu Binessu, a 30-year-old man from Ethiopia, has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder following the alleged shooting of three property managers at his apartment building in St. Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred on July 22, 2026, after Binessu attempted to cancel his $65 monthly parking contract, which he was informed could not be canceled after recent renewal. After expressing his intent to visit the management office, Binessu allegedly opened fire, killing Nansi G. Fuentes Zambrano, 25, Dena M. Silcox, 56, and Adam J. Wilwerding, 43. Police recovered 21 shell casings from the scene. Binessu reportedly confessed to a roommate and was arrested while driving Fuentes Zambrano's car. During police interviews, he expressed frustration with the immigration process and personal losses, stating he felt treated unfairly due to his race and immigrant status. He remains in custody.
