Amazon updates Alexa Plus to enhance smart home device integration

Amazon is releasing an update for its Alexa Plus assistant that will improve its ability to connect with smart home devices. The update, currently in preview, enables Alexa Plus to interact with products from brands such as Bosch, Delta, Ecovacs, iRobot, Yale Home, Whirlpool, and Tapo, among others. This enhancement allows Alexa to automatically direct requests to the appropriate device. For instance, a user with a compatible washing machine can instruct Alexa to select the correct washing cycle based on specific garment care instructions.
