Rep. Nancy Mace Questions Eligibility of Darline Graham for Senate Ballot

Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina, has raised concerns regarding the eligibility of Darline Graham, sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, to appear on the Republican primary ballot. Mace stated, "She has no record and I'm not even sure that she's qualified to be on the ballot," during an interview with Fox News Digital. Darline Graham has announced her candidacy for the special primary election to run for a full Senate term. Mace expressed sympathy for Graham's loss but reiterated her doubts about Graham's qualifications, noting that local GOP Chairman CJ Westfall is seeking a formal determination on this matter. Mace pointed out that under new state election laws, candidates must have voted in two of the last three Republican primaries, a requirement she believes Graham may not meet. Mace has endorsed Rep. Ralph Norman for the Senate seat instead, citing his conservative record. Despite Trump's endorsement of Darline Graham, Mace suggested that South Carolina voters may prioritize their own judgment over endorsements.
