Rep. Nancy Mace Questions Qualifications of Darline Graham for Senate Ballot

Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina, has expressed doubts regarding the eligibility of Darline Graham, the sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, to appear on the Republican primary ballot. Mace stated, "She has no record and I'm not even sure that she's qualified to be on the ballot," during an interview with Fox News Digital. Darline Graham announced her candidacy for the upcoming special primary election to run for a full Senate term. Mace's concerns are echoed by local South Carolina GOP Chairman CJ Westfall, who is seeking a formal determination of Graham's qualifications based on her political experience and voting record. Mace noted that under new state election laws, candidates must have voted in two of the last three Republican primaries, which raises questions about Graham's eligibility. Mace has endorsed Rep. Ralph Norman for the Senate seat instead. Despite Trump's endorsement of Darline Graham, Mace believes that South Carolina voters will make their own decisions based on their preferences rather than solely following Trump's endorsement.
