Three killed, including a child, in Seattle Center shooting; multiple injuries reported

A mass shooting occurred at the Seattle Center on Sunday, resulting in three fatalities and four injuries. The incident took place during the Bite of Seattle food festival, prompting a rapid response from police and emergency services shortly after 6 p.m. Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson confirmed that one suspect has been arrested while authorities are searching for a second suspect. Investigators believe the two suspects were exchanging gunfire, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while three others, including a 2-year-old boy, were transported to a hospital in stable condition. A fourth victim is in serious condition, and a fifth declined transport with minor injuries.
