Epstein Survivors Report Disrespectful Meeting with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's abuse have expressed dissatisfaction with a recent meeting with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. Dani Bensky, a survivor, stated that Blanche told them to 'get to the point' during their discussion, which they had been waiting for over eight months. Bensky criticized Blanche's lack of understanding regarding the seriousness of the Epstein case, stating, 'It was like, you have an Epstein problem.' A Department of Justice official denied that Blanche made such comments. Senator Thom Tillis indicated he would only support Blanche's confirmation if he agreed to meet with Epstein's victims. Bensky described the meeting as condescending, stating that they left without answers regarding Ghislaine Maxwell's prison conditions and the status of investigative leads. Senators Tillis and John Cornyn have threatened to block Blanche's nomination due to his alleged refusal to provide assurances regarding a deal related to a $1.8 billion fund linked to Trump’s lawsuit with the IRS.
