UFC Fighter Allan Nascimento Dies at Age 34 from Apparent Heart Attack

Allan Nascimento, a flyweight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), died on Monday morning at the age of 34 due to an apparent heart attack, as reported by the UFC. Nascimento was found unresponsive in his sleep and was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of medical personnel. He last competed six weeks prior at UFC 119 in Las Vegas, where he lost by split decision. Nascimento began his professional fighting career in 2011 and had a record of 22 wins and 7 losses, with 16 victories coming by submission. He was a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and trained at Chute Boxe Diego Lima in Sao Paulo, where he worked alongside former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. Oliveira expressed his condolences on social media, referring to Nascimento as a brother and a legend in the sport.
