Kentucky man released after serving sentence for assaulting family during 2015 home invasion

Ronald Exantus was released from the Kentucky Department of Corrections on July 29, 2026, after completing his sentence for assaulting three family members during a 2015 home invasion that resulted in the death of 6-year-old Logan Tipton. Exantus was found not guilty by reason of insanity for the murder of Logan but was convicted of assaulting Logan's father and sisters.
