Suspect Arrested Near Trump Golf Course with Firearm

Authorities arrested Jeanine John Taele, 38, from Downey, California, near Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes on Sunday. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that deputies discovered a pistol and illegal ammunition in Taele's vehicle in the parking lot ahead of President Trump's fundraising visit. Taele was observed taking photographs and videos on the golf course grounds, which raised security concerns. He has been charged with carrying a concealed firearm and possession of prohibited ammunition and is currently in custody. The investigation is being conducted in coordination with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force and the United States Secret Service. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Taele's home following the incident.
