Democrats Nominate Cindy Holscher for Kansas Governor Race Against Ty Masterson

Democrats have nominated Cindy Holscher to compete against Republican nominee Ty Masterson in the Kansas gubernatorial election scheduled for November 3. Current Democratic Governor Laura Kelly is term-limited, prompting the party to seek to maintain control of the governor's office in a state with a strong Republican majority. Additionally, a constitutional amendment regarding the election of Kansas Supreme Court justices will be on the ballot, which aims to change the current appointment system.
