Nikita Bier, the head of product at X, has announced he is stepping down from his position and will transition to an advisory role. In a statement, he expressed that it is time to 'pass the torch and demote myself to my natural state: a poster.' This announcement comes shortly after he marked his one-year anniversary in the role and follows the recent public listing of Elon Musk's combined SpaceX, X, and xAI companies. Bier noted that during his tenure, 'almost every aspect of X' has been rebuilt, including the platform's timeline, Android app, chat features, and notifications. The next leaders mentioned to take over include Benji Taylor for design, Jonah Katz for iOS, and Mridul Singhai for product management.
