Porter Airlines Flight Canceled Due to Child's Refusal to Sit

A Porter Airlines flight was canceled last week after a child did not comply with instructions to sit down and buckle up. The incident occurred at Victoria International Airport in British Columbia. According to the airline, the crew and the child's parent made several attempts to secure the child in their seat. As a result, the flight was returned to the terminal to remove the parent and child, which caused delays that extended past the airport's runway closure at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. Other passengers were disembarked and later rebooked on a flight the following day. Porter Airlines issued an apology to the affected passengers.
