Texas Tech Coach Joey McGuire Reports Scheduling Challenges with Major Programs

Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire stated that the university has faced difficulties in scheduling non-conference games with major programs such as USC, Texas A&M, and NC State. In discussions with these schools, McGuire indicated that they have all declined to schedule games against Texas Tech. He noted, "We’re talking to everybody and anybody. So far, everybody’s told us no."
