USS Abraham Lincoln Sailor Rescued After Jumping Overboard, Wife Shares Concerns

She stated that she was not informed by Navy officials about the incident until four days later. The wife shared text messages from her husband indicating he was struggling with the demands of deployment and had expressed concerns about his mental health and expired prescription contact lenses. The couple, both 19 years old, have two young children together.
