At least 139 migrants, including 15 children, died after a boat carrying 305 people from Djibouti toward Yemen capsized Thursday night off Djibouti, the International Organization for Migration said. The vessel went down near Guhere, north of Obock.

The IOM said 84 people remained missing and about 82 were rescued; Fox News reported that more than 80 survived. The agency said all survivors were Ethiopian nationals. The death toll was raised from 109 after 30 additional bodies were recovered, according to the BBC.

The 139 deaths count includes people buried by Djibouti authorities, PBS reported. IOM’s Alexandre Coissac told the Associated Press that other migrants had buried bodies that would not be added to the official total until authorities verified them.
