Country singer Ella Langley canceled her sold-out Friday night concert at Tulsa, Oklahoma's BOK Center after what she described as a serious security threat. The decision came about two hours before the scheduled performance, which was to be held at the 19,000-seat arena.
Tulsa police said a caller warned that harm would occur at the event, including shots and bombs. Police searched the venue several times, including with dogs, and said they found no threat. Langley said on Instagram that local authorities, venue officials and her security team advised the cancellation because of concerns for fans, staff and her team. The Daily Wire reported that Tulsa police said they did not advise canceling the concert.
