All nine people aboard a Learjet 60 died when it crashed Sunday in Palm Beach County, Florida, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.

The private jet had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was bound for the Bahamas, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Duffy said the aircraft crashed at 12:50 p.m. in a neighborhood near West Palm Beach. Reports described a fire after the crash; the New York Post said the plane struck a mobile home park and appeared to destroy at least one trailer.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone on the ground was injured or killed. The FAA said it was sending a team to assist the National Transportation Safety Board's investigation into the cause.
