A 21-year-old woman injured three people at an educational institution in Warsaw on Saturday, police said, in the third attack at a Polish school in less than a week. The woman was arrested, the BBC reported.
Jakub Filipiak, a Warsaw police spokesman, said the suspect used a “dangerous object” against a 17-year-old woman and also injured two others, aged 17 and 24. Police said none of the injuries was life-threatening; the first 17-year-old was taken to hospital, according to the BBC.
Police had detained 76 people and checked nearly 50,000 schools nationwide after two earlier attacks, Breitbart reported. One of those incidents resulted in the death of a female caretaker, the BBC said. A Warsaw police spokesperson said authorities could not confirm whether Saturday’s attack was connected to the previous incidents.
