Yandex said on Sunday it suspended operations at its data centre in Vladimir, east of Moscow, after a Ukrainian drone attack damaged the facility. The company said no one was injured, but several services were unavailable to users.

The strike was the third attack on Yandex sites in a week, according to the reports. Yandex said earlier attacks had hit two of its five data centres and had made it difficult to maintain services. In a Telegram alert, the company said the Vladimir centre’s operations had been completely suspended and urged users to activate disaster-recovery plans while systems were assessed.

Russia and Ukraine have increased attacks on infrastructure in recent months as the war continues. Kyiv said it was targeting sites that provide revenue for Moscow’s war effort. Yandex said emergency services were at the Vladimir site as it worked to restore systems.
