The Trump administration is preparing to revoke business and tourism visas from up to 200,000 migrants who have applied for or are currently seeking asylum in the U.S., which would trigger the largest mass visa revocation ever. The state department will revoke B1 and B2 visas issued between 2016 and 2026 for holders who have sought or are now seeking asylum. Obtaining a visa in order to seek asylum is considered fraud, which is grounds for visa revocation, according to Tommy Pigott, a State Department spokesman.
