Turkey and Pakistan agreed during emergency talks in Riyadh to send rapid-deployment forces to Saudi Arabia, Al Jazeera reported, as fighting in Yemen escalated.

Yemen's internationally recognised government said it would pursue an all-out war to recover territory controlled by the Houthis, according to the BBC. The announcement followed recent exchanges of strikes between the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition. The Houthis said they targeted sites of Saudi oil company Aramco in response to what they described as 50 coalition strikes over 12 hours; Saudi Arabia had not commented, the BBC said.

The BBC reported that a Houthi offensive last month brought the group control of Yemen's coastline, including the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
