The aircraft is owned by Latitude Air Ambulance, a company based at Hamilton International Airport in Ontario that specializes in long-distance medical evacuations and patient repatriations. According to a listing with EURAMI, a European air ambulance accreditation body, Latitude's fleet consists of five aircraft, three of which are Astra SPX or G100 jets equipped for intensive care.</p><p>The G100 is a twin-engine business jet originally developed in Israel.</p><p>Authorities have not disclosed the names of those on board or confirmed whether a patient was among them.
