Paul Pelosi, the husband of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, has been charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run following an incident on July 3, according to the Napa County District Attorney's Office. The charges include a misdemeanor hit-and-run and an infraction for unsafe turning movement.
The criminal complaint states that Pelosi allegedly damaged a parked Tesla and left the scene without providing the necessary information to the vehicle's owner as required by California law. Deputies later found Pelosi approximately half a mile away, where he reportedly indicated he intended to return to the scene. The complaint alleges that Pelosi's actions, including making an unsafe turning movement before the collision, resulted in property damage, forming the basis for the charges. A copy of the criminal complaint was included in the announcement of the charges.
