Rep. Marcy Kaptur hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in Toledo, Ohio

Representative Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) was hospitalized on Sunday after a hit-and-run car crash in Toledo, Ohio, which occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. Kaptur, 80, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck in the incident. She and another individual were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A spokesperson for Kaptur confirmed her condition, stating she is active and alert. Witnesses reported that the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene after being picked up by another vehicle.
