Caleb Flynn, a former Ohio music pastor and former “American Idol” contestant, was convicted Tuesday of killing his wife, Ashley Flynn, in a February shooting.
Reports said Flynn, 40, was found guilty of aggravated murder in Ashley Flynn’s death. The Guardian identified Ashley Flynn, 37, as a schoolteacher and volleyball coach. Fox News reported that Flynn was found guilty on all counts and said prosecutors alleged he shot his wife. The New York Post reported that jurors concluded he staged a break-in at their Tipp City home.
Accounts differed on the number of charges: the New York Post reported 11 counts, while Fox News reported nine charges, along with firearm specifications considered by jurors. The Guardian and Fox News reported that the case involved an affair.
