Shooting in Minneapolis Results in Two Deaths and Injuries to Three Police Officers

At least two people have been killed and several others wounded, including three police officers, following a shooting in Minneapolis. He remarked, 'Grateful to law enforcement actively working to ensure the safety of our neighbors in Downtown Minneapolis this afternoon.' Additionally, Minnesota House of Representatives Speaker Lisa Demuth expressed her prayers for the victims of 'this heinous crime.' This shooting coincided with another incident at Westwood Hills Elementary School in Waynesboro, Virginia, where a 19-year-old gunman entered the school, injuring a staff member before taking his own life. These events follow mass shootings in Chicago, Illinois, and Trenton, New Jersey, over the previous weekend, which resulted in at least three fatalities and 18 injuries.
